Great Barrier Reef Private Charter Boat Snorkelling

Snorkelling the beautiful Coral Sea is a must do activity while on a charter and we know just the best places where to find those colourful tropical reef fish,  turtles and the dreamy sand cay you have always been gazing at in high gloss magazines. Port Douglas is a prime snorkelling destination with no shortage of colourful coral, diverse marine life and clear waters, turtles and dolphins abound. Snorkelling is easy and a great way for the young and the young at heart to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Most of the reef life lives in the first few meters under the surface, so there is plenty to see for you without having to dive deeper. In the summer month we are lucky to encounter mantas and from June to September we are privileged with regular encounters of Humpback and Minke whales.

We provide all quality snorkel equipment and wetsuits/stinger suits and our staff will give you useful tips and hints on how the get the best out of your snorkelling experience!  For those who need extra buoyancy there are special devices and of course you’ll be guided by one of or enthusiastic snorkel guide who will educate you on the marine life and most likely to be able to point out camouflaged creatures that you might have missed.

On a typical day charter day we can visit many snorkel sites on the Outer Great Barrier Reef to showcase you the best of the best! Our journey to the outer Great Barrier Reef will take about 1/1/2 in each direction, on the way there is plenty to do and see.

Instead of visiting  of the Outer Reef there are other options. Exploring the famous and family friendly Low Islands with its pretty beach and fringe reef or the breathtaking Undine Sand Cay  for the ultimate insta-worthy holiday shot are popular alternatives to the journey to edge!

All our charters are fully catered with a healthy buffet (vegetarian and vegan options available), drinks and nibbles throughout the day, and there is plenty of space and time to relax and soak up the Far North Queensland Sun! We do have a standard set but almost any food and drink choice can be accommodated.

Any snorkelling can be mixed with certified diving or intro diving activities.
